The 2023 National Political Science Bee
The National Political Science Bee is a competition for students in grades 6-12 that tests students’ knowledge of all aspects of political science. The NPSB is a two-stage competition with the Qualifying Exam and the National Championships constituting the two stages.
Affiliations
The National Political Science Bee is organized by International Academic Competitions and is presented in partnership with Presidential Classroom, which for over fifty years has offered bipartisan civic education programs and assisted others in designing programs for outstanding high school students.
Competition Stages
The Qualifying Exam
The Qualifying Exam will be offered at all National History Bee and Bowl Varsity and Junior Varsity Level Tournaments, or students can register for it on this website to have it proctored by a teacher or homeschool instructor.
National Championships
The 2022 National Political Science Bee National Championships will take place on April 21-24 in conjunction with the International Academic Competitions National Championships. The NPSB National Championships will consist of three preliminary and one playoff round of buzzer-based quiz competition.
Discussion Group
At the National Championships, participating students will have the opportunity to take part in a dinner discussion group with various policy makers, politicians, members of the military and diplomatic communities, and other people who are influential in public affairs.
