If you are interested in qualifying for the NPSB’s 2021 National Championships, here’s what you need to know. Students in 11th and 12 grade (i.e Varsity Division students) in the 2020-21 academic year must obtain a score of at least 78 on the C Set version of the National Qualifying Exam, at least 54 on the B Set version, or 56 on the A Set version. Students in 10th grade and younger (i.e. JV Division students; for NPSB, this includes any interested middle or elementary schoolers) must obtain a score of at least 78 on the C Set version of the National Qualifying Exam, at least 54 on the B Set version, or 56 on the A Set version. All students in 8th grade or younger who pass, must however compete in the Junior Varsity Division at NPSB Nationals (i.e. there are no younger age divisions).
The National Political Science Bee Qualifying Exams will remain open through 4pm EDT on Saturday, September 5. However, any student wishing to take part in the dinner talks must qualify by August 25 at 11:59pm EDT.
